It is with great excitement that we are announcing today, our merger with Boostcom. Based in Norway, Boostcom provides digital services to 200 shopping centers located in 18 countries in Europe and Asia.
We’ll be sharing more about how this exciting news will bring new capabilities and opportunities to PlaceWise and our customers, but you should expect more marketing automation, greater access to and use of data, audience analytics and personalized communications.
We’ve had a commercial partnership with Boostcom for the past year and a half and through that relationship, both companies saw the opportunity that combining the companies would create. On the PlaceWise side, we bring strong digital marketing capabilities that include web, mobile, social, messaging, retail content and advertising. Boostcom brings an industry-specific data management platform that enables personalization, automation and targeted delivery of loyalty programs and messaging for your mall.
And while both companies provide digital services to shopping centers, there is little overlap in the specific services of both companies. This creates excellent opportunities for PlaceWIse services in Europe/Asia as well as the same for Boostcom’s services with our customers in the US and Canada.
Together, we will be the leading provider of digital solutions to the global shopping center industry - by a long shot. This will enable our customers to have access to state of the art technology and solutions necessary to compete in the ever-evolving digital economy.
PlaceWise will continue to operate as we have been with the addition of new services and capabilities for our customers. Same management team. Same support team. And yes, we’ll probably be adding a few members as we grow.
We’ll be working hard over the next few weeks to integrate the companies and look forward to sharing all the details with you. If you are attending the ICSC NY Deal Making show in December, we’ll be there and would love to share more about this very exciting opportunity.
